Grey cast iron is a foundational material for metrology applications, combining excellent vibration damping, thermal and dimensional stability, and long-term durability.

The internal graphite flake structure provides excellent vibration damping, thermal and dimensional stability and long-term durability. Low thermal expansion ensures measurements remain stable even under fluctuating temperatures. Cast iron bed plates provide a rigid, stable foundation for inspection, measurement and machining operations.

Designed for floor-mounted applications, either surface mounted or installed flush with the final floor level.

Fully customised in size, layout and interface features to meet specific inspection and operational requirements.

Surfaces are available plain, with T-slots or threaded interface features.

For large working areas, multiple smaller bed plates can be combined into plate fields, allowing installation flexibility and future reconfiguration.
