Close-grain black granite is precision lapped, non-magnetic and chemically inert, with interface features produced through elements bonded into the granite. Four product families run from laboratory surface plates to machine foundations, supported by granite tooling, each item manufactured to its governing standard or to drawing.

Interface features in granite.
Granite carries every interface feature available in cast iron. Typically specified: threaded, reamed and hard bushed holes, keyways, T-slots and slots, through to bespoke customer-designed features. They are produced using cast iron or stainless steel elements bonded into the granite, with the element material chosen to suit the application.
